Unfortunately the default method of creating two Memory Cards (MC1 and MC2) did not work in my case and I discovered the reason. The PS2 Classic Placeholder program has a save in: Saved Data Utility (PS2).So, I went looking for this save in the multiMAN, to see what I found, so I found something interesting.
For those who do not know, classic PS2 games in pkg are saved in Saved Data Utility (PS2), and these saves have 17MB for each saved game, that is, the same happens when we created the two Memory Cards so that the games emulated via PS2 Classic Placeholder recognize the Memory Card, but that does not mean that we will have to create Memory Cards for each game lol, finally, the files referring to the Memory Card of the PS2 Classic Placeholder save, has the following name: SCEV MC0.VME SCEV MC1.VME Until now it was normal, so I went after the Midnight Club 3 save in pkg PS2 Classic format to see if it made any difference. When you find the same files referring to the Memory Card, but Midnight Club 3, I noticed that it has the same name as the PS2 Classic Placeholder save. It means that in order for games in Iso.Bin.Cue format via PS2 Classic Placeholder to recognize the Memory Card, we will have to create two Memory Cards with the same name as the programs save, then it will look like this: SCEV MC0.VME Memory Card 2 (MC0) SCEV MC1.VME Memory Card 1 (MC1) That is, the difference between the standard form MC1 and MC2 memory card 2 to MC0 MC1 and MC0. In this way, the game will recognize Memory Card, so it is as if you save from the PS2 Classic Placeholder program were our Memory Cards that we created for the games to work, so the MC1 and MC0 must have the same name as the save file of the program to operate. I do not know if everything I said here makes sense, but thats how mine worked. Please, if you had the same problem with Memory Cards and solved it with this method that I quoted, please report back. Ive tried to use your soluction of naming the MCs those respective names (the 2 methods), and the game still not recognizes the MCs. Ive put the Cards in the respective slot but it didnt make any changes. Also, ive tried to found the PS2 Classics Placeholder save data, but i dont have any idea where it is (i know, im noob in this st).
